The Valiant is an eight-story student housing building over ground-floor retail, a few blocks south of the UC Berkeley campus.
Challenge
Berkeley's Southside has been short of beds for decades.
Vision
We built 83 units and 262 beds on Durant Avenue in Berkeley's Southside, with the highest ratio of single-bedroom units in the Berkeley market at opening.
Results
Delivered in 2026 with Canyon Partners and Valiance Capital, and financed by Kennedy Wilson.
