Overview

Arbello is a 120-unit mixed-use development in downtown San Mateo, under construction.

Challenge
Downtown San Mateo sits on the Peninsula's transit and employment corridor and has added very little housing to match it.
Vision
We are building 120 homes at 477 9th Avenue, twelve of them below market rate, over roughly 29,000 square feet of office on a downtown block served by transit.
Results
Entitled through the San Mateo Planning Commission and financed with a $61 million construction loan in July 2025.
