Overview

Wexler is 223 units and 791 beds of furnished student housing next to California State University, Sacramento, in the city's 65th Street University Opportunity Area.

Challenge: Two separately owned parcels and a working regional bus facility sat on the site beside Sacramento State's light rail station, in a market short enough of student housing that it was affecting enrollment and retention.
Vision: After assembling the two parcels and relocating the regional bus stops, we built 791 beds of student housing.
Results: Delivered in 2022 with AECOM Capital, Canyon Partners and Argos Family Office, Wexler was recognized by the Sacramento Business Journal as a Best Real Estate Project of 2023 in the student housing category.
